 Joseph C. McCallum.
Joe joined HWL&A after completing his articles in the Ottawa office of a
large Bay Street labour and employment firm. He has enjoyed the opportunity to
return to practice in his home town and has focused his practice in the areas
of civil, commercial and employment related litigation. More recently Joe has
become heavily involved in the emerging field of Privacy Law and has spoken
across the province to service clubs and professional associations on the
effect of privacy legislation on their respective endeavors.
Joe is involved as an executive member of an Ontario
Bar association Committee and the Lincoln County Law association. He is also
proud of his volunteer service on the Board of Aux Coins des Petits, a local
daycare facility.
Joe has appeared before the Ontario Labour Relations
Board, the Public Service and Staff Relations Board, the Ontario Human Rights
Tribunal as well as various levels of courts. Prior to practicing law Joe was
proud to serve the residents of St. Catharines as a professional firefighter
for more than ten years. As an individual who came to practice law later in
life Joe prides himself in his ability to respect the expectations and concerns
of his clients.
Joe also conducts sessional lectures at Brock
University for the Faculty of Business. |
